Privacy on walking tours
When you join one of our Royal Mile walking tours, we will invite you to sign our visitors' book. This is simply to give us an idea of who our visitors are and where they come from. It is completely optional, and you are free to give as much or as little information as you wish, or none at all. In any case, we will not share this information with any third party, nor will any attempt be made to contact you, unless you specifically ask us to for any reason.
After you have been on a tour, we encourage you to send us your feedback. This can be done via the Contact Us page on this site, our TripAdvisor page, or other social media. We would like to be able to quote from your comments in our marketing material, including an abbreviated version of your name and your approximate location (e.g. "Mrs. A.M., Bristol" or "R. Family, Los Angeles"). If you prefer us not to show this information, or not to quote from your comments at all, we will be happy to respect your wishes.
Website privacy
When you visit our website, you do so in complete privacy and anonymity. We do not keep a record of your visit, nor do we collect any personal information about you. All pages of the site are equally accessible to all visitors, apart from a section reserved for our guides which requires a password for access.
We do not at present use cookies but might do so in the future.
If you contact us, we ask you, as a matter of courtesy, to let us know who you are and how we can contact you in reply. This information will be treated as completely confidential. We will not publish any details of your communication except with your prior consent. We will not pass on any information about you to any third party.
If you follow a link from our site to a third-party site, that party might require you to provide personal information in order to access their site or to order products or services from it. We have no control over the information which third-party sites collect from our visitors.
